We swing into Sagittarius Season on November 22nd, remaining in this adventurous, creative fire sign until the darkest day of the year: Winter Solstice (Yule) on December 21st. Having Jupiter as their ruling planet, Sagittarians have an unparalleled lust for life. More than any other sign, this fiercely independent fire sign values the freedom of movement and an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and better understanding of the way the world ticks.

Mutable Sagittarius is symbolized by the Centaur Chiron, the half horse, half human god known for bravery and wisdom. Chiron aims a bow and arrow toward truth. Sagittarius natives have dynamic natures that, like Chiron, seeks to find the answers to the questions of life.
Maude Gonne, English-born Irish republican revolutionary, suffragette and actress, December 21, 1866
Loyal, confident, and intelligent Sagittarians are one-of-a-kind personalities. Philosophical and creative, they are smart and assertive with impeccable discernment. Genuinely caring, they are warm and generous to those in need. They put others and ease, and are there for their loved ones. Sagittarius natives base their relationships on a mutual sense of trust and an open sense of communication. They’re adaptable, and get along well with various types of people. This easy-going nature, and happy gift-of-gab makes them great conversationalists. As they’re known for emotional intelligence, helping them easily make connections with others.
Marjane Satrapi, French-Iranian graphic novelist, cartoonist, illustrator, film director, and children's book author, November 22, 1969
Sagittarians are often juggling multiple projects, constantly in search of equilibrium when it comes to devoting the necessary care to one individual goal. Luckily, many Sag natives seem to intrinsically know when to prioritize. Besides, they naturally thrive on challenge and often do their best work this way. Though, it doesn’t make the task any easier. Sagittarians are one of the most creative of the zodiac, and are creative trailblazers. Their innate yearning for autonomy allows them to deviate from the conventional and go it alone.
Camille Claudel, French sculptor, December 8, 1864
As caring as they are, Sagittarian Suns can be insensitive and blunt. Quick to react, and slow to reflect they often underestimate how they might affect others. When a Sag is out-of-whack, the ugly risk of arrogance can rise up and overshadow all those positive traits. Sagittarius natives often find themselves in the hot seat when it comes to getting into trouble with others (particularly those in authority). This can lead to workplace disagreements and feuds. Due to their blunt delivery, even well-meaning intentions can find them in over their heads. It’s important that Sun in Sagittarius stay in their lanes, and do what they’re best at in order to inspire rather than alienate others.
Margaret Cho, Korean-American stand-up comedian, actress, LGBTQIA+ social activist, and musician, December 5, 1968
One thing Sagittarius season could never be accused of is a boring time. Sagittarius season along with Sag natives bring it, but stepping back and letting ourselves be more open to knowledge pays off. It’s important to step down from soap-boxing to reflect and retreat, which could be just what the doctor ordered. Consider unity, and remember to put yourself in other’s shoes from time to time.
